Kaupapa | Programmes

Programmes support personal growth, whānau strengthening, and wellbeing, delivered over four or six sessions during school terms. Programmes are free and facilitated by experienced kaimahi. Before beginning any of our programmes you will need to kōrero with one of our team.

Kaupapa are delivered over four (4) weeks from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. We encourage you to attend all sessions to benefit from the programme.

Ko Wai au? Takes you on a journey of rediscovery delivered. Our ko wai au kaupapa will help you to reclaim your identity and direction in life through stories. Focus on developing life through trauma e.g. bereavement through loss of love ones, abuse and domestic violence.

Tangata Ora where whānau are safe and thriving. This programme helps you to identify the source of anger and recognise triggers to violence and effects of violence on self, whānau and others.

Oranga Whānau supporting parents in understanding their tamariki needs strengthening our whānau to look after our tamariki. Parents build confidence in understanding their children and offers practical, positive strategies for navigating challenging moments.

Tane Ora a pilot programme – where men are safe and thriving in our whānau and hapori, Te Huringa ō Te Ao

Our mahi is grounded in tikanga Māori, guided by whanaungatanga, and shaped by the lived experiences of our communities. We walk alongside you — at your pace, in your way.

School-Based Programmes & Support

We deliver school‑based wellbeing support in partnership with schools through SWiS (Social Workers in Schools) and Kia Ora Ake. These programmes support tamariki and rangatahi within the school environment, working closely with whānau and school staff to strengthen wellbeing, resilience, and connection.

Kia Ora Ake – School-based wellbeing

Kia Ora Ake supports the mental wellbeing of tamariki through early support and prevention‑focused mahi. Delivered within schools, Kia Ora Ake focuses on: Resilience, emotional regulation, and self-confidence Supporting tamariki to understand feelings and behaviour Working alongside whānau and teachers Strengthening wellbeing in everyday school life

School‑based referrals are managed through participating schools, in line with SWiS and Kia Ora Ake referral pathways.

SWiS – Social Workers in Schools

Our SWiS Social Workers provide early intervention and ongoing support for tamariki and their whānau within participating schools. Support includes: Individual and whānau social work support Strengthening safety, relationships, and wellbeing Advocacy and navigation across services Working in partnership with whānau and schools

Small Group Programmes are run in conjunction with school’s needs.

Community‑based services (Counselling, Social Work, Programmes):
Self‑referrals and agency referrals welcome.

School‑based services (SWiS & Kia Ora Ake):
Referrals are made through participating schools.

We work alongside individuals, whānau, tamariki, and rangatahi to identify what matters most, build on strengths, and support wellbeing in a holistic and coordinated way. Support may include;
